How to access CPF information and services

If you are a Singapore citizen or permanent resident working in Singapore, part of your salary goes into a compulsory savings account known as the Central Provident Fund (CPF).

Your CPF accounts

Your CPF savings is kept in three accounts, each of which has specific permitted uses:

  • Ordinary account - for housing, insurance, investment and education
  • Special account - for old age and investment in retirement-related financial products
  • Medisave account - for hospitalisation expenses and approved medical insurance
